This home is some serious goals you guys. It belongs to gorgeous Shay Mitchell from Pretty Little Lies (never watched it, is it any good? Trending on Netflix now!) and is of course in L.A. Even thought is loosely inspired by Spanish colonial style, it is definitely more contemporary and feminine with influences from all over the world. I love the mix of sleek metal finishes with warm wood and vintage rugs and oh my god, isn't this kitchen insane? Especially the breakfast corner with the Parisian café chairs!
Dark walls look so good in the living room and bedroom as well, giving it depth and cosiness and the rest of the house is kept a little more bright and airy with the white shades of the walls. Love it!
You know I love a good before/after, it's so amazing to see a room going from drab to fab, I always find it so cool to see it's initial state against the final transformation and imagine the work that went into it! This kitchen was redone in 6! days and went from outdated and sad to modern, sleek and beautiful!! I am obsessed with the grey kitchen cabinets, especially with brass knobs like those and the subway tile looks great here as well! Maybe I would just go for a different chandelier? You probably know Bijou&Boheme, lovely blog written by designer Christine Dovey and I wanted to share her latest project featured on Style at home. It's an interesting mix of modern, vintage and rustic on the white canvas of the walls, with pops of colours in the paintings and flowers. My favourite detail is the big mirror on top of the mantle reflecting the art and the sputnik style chandelier, super clever!! And of course the animal print carpet on the stairs, obsessed! Featured on House Beautiful , it belongs to a gallery owner and was designed together with interior designer Suellen Gregory in Richmond in Virginia and it's such a beautiful home! I love how the owners took the risk and went all in with the pink scheme.
The main living room is just amazing, less extravagant
than anywhere else with subtle touches of pink and yellow and gold accessories. Also, those curtains are to die for and I love have the transparent coffee table holds the books and flowers without being too visible itself.
How amazing does this glossy paint look in the reception area??

I follow Alice Lane on Facebook and I just fell so much in
love with this space when they shared it.
I love everything about this room, from the patterned
carpets to the marble tops and the all the accessories, a perfect combination
of sophisticated and edgy and just so chic.
Definitely a huge inspiration and styling lesson and an
amazing eye candy even if you don’t have a massive walking in closet!

I love the sophisticated feel of this apartment in San
Francisco designed by Matthew MacCaul Turner featured on C-home. It’s very dramatic with the black and white contrast and simple
forms of the furniture but the drama is balanced out with the architectural
details like the round columns and curtains. I really have a thing for black walls, they change the space so much when used right.

I came across this article on The Telegraph the other day which gives quiet an interesting insight into Kelly Hoppen's world and also shows exclusive pictures of her new London home, which I think it's amazing with all the different textures and shades of beige. Pretty impressive space, look at the height of those ceilings!! I love her attention to detail. What do you think?
Ryan Korban is definitely in my top 10 favourite designers, I think everything he does is just brilliant and innovative and I love his signature bold, seductive look. This time he brings us this beautiful residence in Tribecca, a monochrome heaven with pops of brass. The only pop of colour in her are the flowers, the rest is black and white but so far far away from boring. Fur, animal prints, leather, mirrors and fabric all play together to create a perfect harmony of textures. Isn't this place just amazing? I am lusting after his book as well, any of you have it? x
